Wearing a tiger striped chef’s cap with a “Winning Recipes” apron, the former “Two and a Half Men” star proudly showed off his culinary skills during the laughable effort. A producer from “Funny or Die” told Us magazine of the creation, “The skit was produced as a way to remind people he knows what everyone is thinking and he’s in on it too.” With the script being written by former SNL writer and producer Adam McKay, another insider tells Us of the “Winning Recipes” skit, “Charlie doesn’t want to do more press like last week — that was a moment in time for him.

Turning up in Toronto for promotional efforts, Emma Roberts made her way to the Focus Features premiere of “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” on Saturday night (September 11). Screened at Ryerson Theatre as part of the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival, the “Hotel for Dogs” darling joined co-stars Zach Galifianakis and Keir Gilchrist for the north of the border screening. Once the movie wrapped up, Miss Roberts and her co-stars closed out the evening with an afterparty/press session at the nouveau riche Brassaii Restaurant and Lounge.
