As they continue to heal after the tragic passing of their son Jett back in January of 2009, John Travolta and Kelly Preston have announced that their family is expecting a new arrival! Breaking the joyous news via their Web sites, the Hollywood couple tells, “It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this.” Travolta, 56, and Preston, 47, continue, “We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.” Also parents to a 10-year-old daughter named Ella Bleu, the family signed the announcement “Love, John, Kelly and Ella.”
It has been a very rough year for John Travolta and his family, with the death of his son Jett and the subsequent extortion scheme plotted against him. And now there’s more bad news for the “Face/Off” actor, as the court case involving Pleasant Bridgewater and Tarino Lightbourne has been declared a mistrial. Bridgewater and Lightbourne have been accused of attempting to extort $25 million from Travolta in exchange for keeping some of the details of Jett’s death from the public eye.
