Withe less than three weeks remaining until the grandest night in Tinseltown takes place, the 2012 Oscar hopefuls gathered together at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 84th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon on Monday afternoon (February 6). Hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, eighteen of the twenty main category nominees made appearances including Best Lead Actor candidates Brad Pitt and George Clooney , as well as Best Lead Actress selections Rooney Mara and Michelle Williams . Other notable stars on the guest list included ladies such as Meryl Streep , Glenn Close, Berenice Bejo , Viola Davis, Melissa McCarthy, Janet McTeer and Octavia Spencer

Enjoying an afternoon of celebration, Michelle Williams was spotted at the 84th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this afternoon (February 6).

She’s always given her all to every role she takes on, and Michelle Williams earned herself an Oscar nod for Best Actress thanks to her work in “My Week With Marilyn.” It was announced early Tuesday morning (January 24) that the “Blue Valentine” beauty nabbed the nomination while she’s up against Glenn Close (“Albert Nobbs”), Viola David (“The Help”), Rooney Mara (“The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”), and Meryl Streep (“The Iron Lady”).
