Having recently made clear his Presidential campaign plans in Haiti, Wyclef Jean has since spoken up about his newfound political ambitions. Over the past week, the “Gone Til November” rapper has given a number of interviews and has explained his motivation behind wanting to take over one of the most challenging jobs in the Western Hemisphere. He told Time Magazine, “If not for the earthquake, I probably would have waited another 10 years before doing this.

Showing his support for Yele, Wyclef Jean was spotted at a press conference held at the National Action Network Headquarters in Harlem, New York City on Wednesday (January 27). The “Gone Till November” singer along with Rev. Al Sharpton spoke in behalf of the humanitarian and relief organization.

Doing everything in his power to help the people of his homeland, Wyclef Jean took some time off from his disaster relief in Haiti to shoot a Haiti Relief Fund message in Miami Beach on Saturday (January 16).
